Join me as I share insights from my recent journey to the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Washington DC, where the fusion of spiritual beliefs and political ideologies stirred up quite the debate. This isn’t about pushing for legislation of faith, but rather infusing political conversation with a fresh, spiritually informed perspective. I’ll recount a personal anecdote where my words were misconstrued by the media, leading to an unexpected backlash, and discuss the pivotal role of spiritual values amidst the fleeting nature of political shifts, particularly with elections looming.

Key Takeaways:

  • Steve shares the challenges he encountered in conveying his message about combining the spiritual with the political while attending the conservative political action conference (CPAC).
  • The purpose is not to advocate for legislating spiritual beliefs or pushing a conservative agenda.
  • The true focus is on influencing politicians and people in positions of influence with spiritual principles to bring about positive change in society.
  • The importance of a spiritual revival in the country and the need to change hearts rather than relying solely on political solutions.
